September 12, 2006

The September meeting of the PVMC was held Tuesday evening, September 12, 2006 at Maximus. The meeting was called to order at 7:07 PM by President, Todd Perry. Members present were: Alice N, Tom M, Rhonda W, Diane G, Kevin V,  Bill K, Jeff Cook, Jeff K, Ken P, Dan J, Denny B,  Jon K, Rex M, Ron M, Doug S, Todd & Vicki.

I, Doug Starkey would like to apology to everyone in the club for not sending out a newsletter for the past 2 months. There have been some changes made in the secretary position twice since the first of the year. You will be receiving the newsletter every month from now on.

Old Business: 

• The show went well considering that it rained most of the day. We have received feedback from some of the participants saying that moving the show to Frankfort square was a great idea. We do need to watch the classes a little closer.  Thanks to everyone for all your help, we could not have done the show without you. We would also like to say thank you to all the sponsors. 
• Poker Run was another great time, even thought it rained on us most of the day. Two hands were being played, winners were:

Thanks to Jeff K and Rhonda W. for setting the run up, you did a great job.

New Business: 

• Dusters Cruise night is September 26, 2006, we will be meeting at Ace Hardware at 6:00 PM to cruise down together. This will be the last cruise night for 2006.
• Sonic Show and Shine September 30th in Norfolk. Registration is from 12:00 till 1:00 PM, the show goes from 1:00 till 3:30 PM. Entry fee is $5.00 with first 100 entries will receive a free T-shirt and dash plaque.
• Halloween party will be held October 28, 2006 @ Maximus Lounge. Start time is @ 7:00 PM. Food will be provided.
• Rex brought up going to the Corn Maze north of Schaben's.
• A special thank you to Rhonda W for the job she is doing on the website.
• We would also like to thank Bill & Lisa for the great time at the pool party. 

A special memo on Rick & Jeanie Doupnik for receiving the People's Choice in Leigh for their beautiful 69 Mach. Great Job!

• Jon Vanderheiden from: Laurel ,Ne Jon is a farmer / Great Dane Trailers & has 2 mustangs,...a 2006 2dr GT coupe in Tungsten Grey, and also a 2001 mustang GT Bullitt in True Blue.
