October 10, 2006


The October meeting of the PVMC was held Tuesday evening, October 10, 2006 at Maximus. The meeting was called to order at 7:07 PM by President, Todd Perry. Members present were: Tom M, Diane G, Kevin V,  Bill K, Jeff K, Ken P,  Denny B,  Jon K, Doug S, Jennifer & Terry B, Todd & Vicki P.

Old Business: 

  • Schuyler cruise night; Tom, Todd, Jeff and Denny all went to the last cruise night in Schuyler, not many other cars showed up.
  • Grand Island supper: Todd, Vicki, Jeff, Sally and Denny went over to Grand Island to the Vintage Wheels Club Supper. There were alot of Ford bashing going on but our group held their own on bashing the GM guy's. It was all done in fun. They had a great time and were invited to come back next year.

New Business: 

  • Roadside cleanup was held on Sunday the 15th. There were 19 members present, thanks everyone for coming out and helping. After the cleanup we cruised to Maximus for a cool drink or two. We were seen going through town by one of the people that I (Doug) work with and he said that was an awesome sight seeing all the club cars in line and cruising Columbus.

  • Haunted Corn Maze: October 20th, Friday night. We will meet at Maximus at 6:30 PM. There will be a $5.00 charge to go through the Maze if you have a coupon. The coupon will only be available at Maximus at 6:30. We will journey to the maze around 6:50 PM.

  • Halloween party: October 27th, Friday night at Maximus lounge. Start time will be at 7:00 PM, with a scavenger hunt starting at 8:00 PM. The outing will be more out of town people friendly and shorter than the past years. There will be a trophy for the best costume and also for the scavenger hunt. Food will be provided.

  • November 3rd, Rex is having a birthday party at the Little Water Bar in Garrison from 7:00 PM until ? He request no RSVP's or gifts. Just come and have a good time.

  • Christmas Party will be held at the Husker House on December 9th at 7:00 PM

Next meeting will be November 14, 2006 @ Maximus. Meeting adjourn at 8:00 PM.
