June 13, 2006


The June meeting of the PVMC was held Tuesday evening, June 13, 2006 at Maximus. The meeting was called to order at 7:15 PM by President, Todd Perry. 

PVMC report:
We will be having a meeting at Dusters Show and Shine on Tuesday June 27th at 7:00 PM. We need more sponsors for the our show. 
For a $25 donation it will be for a 2nd or 3rd place trophy.
For a $50 donation it will be for a 1st place trophy.
For a $100 donation it will be for a Best of or 2 - 1st place trophies.

Old Business: 

  • May 14th was Mother's Day - Hope everyone had a great day.
  • May 20th: Poker Run. The weather was great and we had about 10 people show up. Rick & Jeanne had some problems with their vehicle and D.J & Becky let them borrow their pickup so they can bring back a trailer to load the car and finish the run. It's stuff like this that makes this club so special.
  • May 22nd: Kayla graduated from high school - Congratulations and we all hope that the future holds for you.
  • June 2nd - 4th: Tour Nebraska Rod Run: There were approximately 560 cars for the show and cruise. Everything went very smooth, we all want to say a special thank you to Becky, Alice, Rhonda & Vicki on a job well done on the registration and tallying the votes. 

New Business: 

  • Parade on July 2nd, meet at the NPPD parking lot at 3:00 PM.
  • Lincoln show: Anyone that is going to Lincoln on Friday July 7th, we will meet at ACE Hardware at 3:30 PM and plan on leaving at 4:00 PM. We will go to Ceresco and go through the parade while on the way to Lincoln. Rex is in need of help for registration Saturday morning, please contact him if you are to help out.
  • Christmas party: Will be held December 9th at 7:00 PM
  • Anyone interested in a Fall Poker Run or going to the Kearney Drag Strip?
  • Raffle tickets are available for our PVMC show, contact Alice Nagorski @ LACoupe@megavision.com or call.

Membership Dues: We still have some members who have not paid there dues for 2006. They will have to be paid by 8-11-06 or your name will be pulled off the website and dropped from the club roster. Please send the dues to Donn Swedenburg @ 113 Lakeshore Drive, Columbus NE 68601.
