July 11, 2006

The July meeting of the PVMC was held Tuesday evening, July 11, 2006 at Maximus. The meeting was called to order at 7:06 PM by President, Todd Perry. Members present were: Bill K, Rhonda W, Don S, Tom M, Terry B, Ken P, Jeff K, Jon K, Ron H, Todd P, Jeff C, Reggie A, Denny B and Sue.

PVMC report:
This year the club members WILL NOT be voting at the show, this will be a popular vote show. Everything is on track as far as the trophies go, if you have any sponsors on the line, please contact Doug Starkey or Bill Kohler. 

Old Business: 

• Lincoln Show on July 7th, Todd, Denny, Bill, Jeff and Doug went to Ceresco to join up in the parade. The Show and Shine had about 200 cars. Later they met up with Rex, Terry, Jen, Susie and Tom. The Lincoln show went well. Denny took 1st, Jeff got 2nd, Bill 3rd, Tom 3rd, Doug 3rd, Todd 1st, Rex 1st and Brock 2nd, all in separate classes. Rex also won a late model award from Mike's Classic Cars...Congratulations Rex! Todd also received a specialty award for having his car in the 100 years Ford display. Rex wanted everyone to know that he appreciates everything the club did to help the show.

New Business: 

• PVMC show will be at Frankfort Square downtown August 13, 2006. Terry has ordered show staff shirts, we would like anyone that still has their shirts from last year to wear them if they are in good shape. Their will be one more show meeting to finalize everything.
• July 22nd: Parade in David City, Rex's home town. We are meeting at ACE Hardware at 12:30, please join up with us.
• July 23rd: Show in Cook, NE Contact Todd Perry if you are interested in going.
• Jeff and Rhonda have volunteered to set up the fall Poker Run, they will let everyone know more information when it comes available.
• Bill Kohler has offered to have a pool party at his house, more information will follow at a later date.
• Raffle tickets are available for our PVMC show, contact Alice Nagorski @ LACoupe@megavision.com or call.

Membership Dues: We still have some members who have not paid there dues for 2006. They will have to be paid by 8-11-06 or your name will be pulled off the website and dropped from the club roster. Please send the dues to Donn Swedenburg @ 113 Lakeshore Drive, Columbus NE 68601.

Webmaster Rhonda reported that she would like more bio of members vehicles and photo's. If you have any questions please contact her @ golfgal40@yahoo.com
