2006 January Minutes

Members in Attendance:

Old Business:  

We like to give a big Thank you to Alice Nagorski & DJ Brandenburg for all your help organizing the annual Christmas party that was held December 10th, 2005 at Husker House.  

New Business:  

First of all Rhonda Wetgen took the minutes for our absent secretary Jared Blessen. Please be patience reading the minutes because we went over a lot of topics.  At our PVM Show a photographer took a group photo of some of the member’s cars. May 18 - 21, 2006 our club is thinking about getting into an auto show in St. Louis, Missouri, please contact Todd Perry or Denny Brandenburg for details.

Doug Starkey brought a book called Car Council 2005; we call it the bible for Mustang/car shows during the 2006 year. If anyone is interested in buying this Car Council book please contact Lamber64_70@cox.net or talk to Rex Minert.

Welcome aboard everyone!  

Treasurer report: $2862.87 as of January 10th, 2006. Our annual dues are due March 31, 2006, if dues are not paid by then your name will be remove from our mailing list and website.  If you have any questions you may call or email Todd Perry. The club also voted on: Any new member who joined after October 2005, their dues will carry over to the New Year.  

The Lincoln Car Show was discussed and will be held July 7 - 9, 2006. Todd & Rex went down to Ceresco, NE and told us that Mike’s Classic Cars in Blair will donate $6000.00 to the club to help finance the show. Please contact Todd Perry for more details.  

We need more MCA members; this is a great club and will send out a lot of information about shows. Check out their website: http://www.mustang.org  

Events List for 2006; the exact dates will be added to our website when they come available in our next meetings.  

  •         Bowling Party - February 2006, free shoes and drinks specials.

  •         Mike’s Classic Cars tour - March 2006.

  •         Easter Rod Run - April 16th, 2006 1:00 PM Creston, NE

  •         Show n Shine - April 23, 2006 (location will be discussed).

  •         Spring Poker Run - May 2006

  •        Adopt a Highway Trash Pickup - May 6, 2006 1:00 PM meet at Pyramid Canvas south of Loup River.

Tour Nebraska will be coming through Columbus around June 2 - 4th, 2006. Information please contact Rex Minert.

We are moving to a different domain. Our new website address will be: http://www.pvmustangs.net make sure to bookmark this page to your favorites. The old link will be still available until April. We still need your photos for our member pages. Some members only have one photo from the Show n Shine back in April. You can email me or dropped them off at the County Clerk’s office. Remember to have a short bio & modifications of your vehicle.  

January 17, 2006 will be the PVMC Show Committee meeting 7:00 PM @ Maximus. Volunteers are welcome to come.  

Our next PVMC meeting will be February 16, 2006. That’s Thursday night and not Tuesday because of Valentine’s Day.
