August 8, 2006


The August meeting of the PVMC was held Tuesday evening, August 8, 2006 at Maximus. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by President, Todd Perry. Members present were: Alice N, Terry & Jen, Sara, Fran and Randy Lott, Tom M, Rhonda W, Kevin V, John Beller, Bill K, Jeff Cook, Jeff K, Ken P, Cory B, DJ B, Denny B,  Doug S, Todd & Vicki.

PVMC report:
This year the club members WILL NOT be voting at the show, this will be a popular vote show. Everything is ready to go for our show August 13, 2006. Thanks to everyone on all their work getting donations.

Old Business: 

  • Todd Perry and Bill Kohler went down to the Fremont Show where Bill placed 3rd in his class and Todd placed 2nd. 
  • July 23rd: Cook, NE where Todd, Rex and Tom journey down south. Todd and Rex both took 1st place in their classes. 
  • July 30th: Omaha, NE "Fun in the Sun" our president Todd Perry journey to place 1st in his class and received the Best Ford trophy. Way to go Todd!
  • August 5 & 6th: Cruise Nite Car Show Sunset Plaza Mall Rod & Custom, Norfolk, NE our members Tom, Todd, Denny, Fred & Sheri went to the show. Todd and Tom both placed 1st, Denny, Fred & Sheri took 2nd in their classes. They also received $75.00 for club participation.

New Business: 

  • Pool party at Bill Kohler's house on August 26, 2006. 
  • Poker Run on September 9, 2006. More details to follow.
  • Havlock show will be September 10, 2006. Anyone interested in helping judge should contact Rex Minert.
  • Raffle tickets are available for our PVMC show, contact Alice Nagorski @ LACoupe@megavision.com or call.

New Members: Welcome to the Club!

  • Randy, Fran & Sara Lott. Randy has a 69 Coupe, Fran drives a 06 Convertible, and Sara has a 2000 Convertible and a 66 Coupe.
  • Don & Donna Pierson. They own a 67 Coupe and 05 Roush. 
  • Diane Gehring. She drives a 1998 GT Convertible.

Membership Dues: We still have some members who have not paid there dues for 2006. They will have to be paid by 8-11-06 or your name will be pulled off the website and dropped from the club roster. Please send the dues to Donn Swedenburg @ 113 Lakeshore Drive, Columbus NE 68601.
